A Community Anchor for Learning, Literacy, and Opportunity
The Stuart Library Foundation supports the Stuart Public Library by funding programs, technology, and scholarships that strengthen lifelong learning and a healthy democracy in our community.
The Stuart Library Foundation works in close partnership with the Stuart Public Library to ensure private support enhances, not replaces, public funding.
We host engaging programs and events that bring people together through learning, history, and shared experiences.
Private donations help fund books, technology, equipment, and resources beyond the library's public budget.
Programs like 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten, Summer Reading, LEGO Club, and Cards & Coffee support learners of all ages.
Our International Travel Scholarship helps local young adults explore the world and return with broader perspectives.

The International Travel Scholarship enables young adults in the Stuart Library community to travel outside the United States to gain firsthand knowledge of global cultures, history, economics, and society. These are experiences that can't be learned from books alone.
As Mark Twain said, "Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness."
"I chose Europe for its strong influence on engineering and the arts. As an engineering major at Iowa State University and an All-State Art Competition winner, experiencing Europe's museums, innovation, and street art broadened my perspective and appreciation for both cultures."
Bringing the Community Together
Your involvement, whether through donations, volunteering, or memorial gifts, helps ensure the Stuart Public Library remains a vibrant resource for generations to come.
